Kelly K. Nichols, OD, MPH, PhD, FAAO, ASCO president-elect and dean of the UAB School of Optometry, has been elected to serve on the National Alliance for Eye and Vision Research (NAEVR) and the Alliance for Eye and Vision Research (AEVR) board of directors in the class of 2020-2023.
 
In March, the University of Montreal named Dr. Langis Michaud as the new dean for the School of Optometry. His five-year term began June 1.
