Salus PCO Names Resident of the Year Award Winners

Salus University’s Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) has named two winners of the Bernard Blaustein Resident of the Year Award for the Residency Class of 2020.

Chad Killen, OD, the On-Campus Low Vision Resident at The Eye Institute of Salus University; and Jessica Vickery, OD, Off-Campus Ocular Disease/Specialty Contact Lens Resident, Midatlantic Cornea Consultants, York, Pennsylvania, were both chosen for the honor, which is presented annually to a Salus PCO resident who has shown exceptional clinical promise and aptitude during their residency year.

Individuals considered for this award are recognized for their clinical acumen, thirst for knowledge, willingness to share their knowledge for the benefit of improved patient care and outstanding growth during their residency training, according to Bhawan Minhas, OD, FAAO, director of the On-Campus Residency Programs at Salus PCO.
