Arizona Optometric Association Names Dr. Esposito as Young Optometrist of the Year

Christina Esposito, OD, FAAO, FCOVD, clinical care coordinator at the Midwestern University Eye Institute and associate professor at the Arizona College of Optometry (AZCOPT), has been named the 2020 Young Optometrist of the Year by the Arizona Optometric Association (AZOA).

Dr. Esposito graduated from the University of Arizona in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in General Biology. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from AZCOPT in 2013 and then served as a vision therapy/vision rehabilitation resident at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.

The Young Optometrist of the Year award honors young professionals who have been in practice less than 10 years, who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation and service to the profession, as well as their commitment to the visual welfare of the public and to the community at large.
