Dr. Michaud named Dean of Montreal’s School of Optometry
In March, the University of Montreal named Dr. Langis Michaud as the new dean for the School of Optometry. His five-year term began June 1.
Dr. Michaud has been a full professor in primary care, cornea and contact lenses at the university since March of 2013. He is also actively involved in clinical research in contact lenses and contact lens care, as well as Fabry’S and MPS diseases. He has also been very involved in the Scleral Lens Education Society, having served as their international chair for more than five years.
