Johnson & Johnson Vision Prioritizes Safety of Contact Lenses
Johnson & Johnson Vision is making sure ECPs have the resources they need to communicate the safety of contact lenses during COVID-19 concerns with their patients. Virtually, ACUVUE® LensAssist is a completely free tool that can be used for patients who need help with contact lens insertion and removal, or any questions answered via live chat, email or by speaking to an expert on the phone.
The company has a webpage dedicated to contact lens safety, proper hygiene and use that reinforces guidance provided by the AOA & CDC. JJV has also partnered with industry colleagues and CORE (Centre for Ocular Research & Education) to promote patient tools and professional discussions “on safe contact lens wear” that can be shared digitally with patients.
