The 43rd TXAPA Annual Meeting is scheduled for September 19-23, 2017 at the La Torretta Resort in Montgomery, Texas. We are looking forward to an exciting, fun and informative annual meeting. You can now register online at the TXAPA website.

The TXAPA Scholarship Live and Silent Auction is being held at the annual meeting on Thursday evening, September 21, 2017. TXAPA is now accepting donations for the auction. This is a very important program and earlier this year TXAPA awarded a total of 18 scholarships to students. These are students that are pursuing a career in the asphalt construction industry. The spouses’ event this year is a special treat. Ladies will depart from the La Torretta lobby on a chartered minibus at 10:30 a.m. and head towards St. Francis Wolf Sanctuary. TXAPA is in the process of providing a series of "Fundamentals of Asphalt" seminars around the state. To date, a seminar has been held in Fort Worth and in Houston. Both these seminars were well attended. These have been offered to all members, city and county officials and TxDOT. The next seminar is being held on August 15, 2017 in Lufkin, Texas.
