TXAPA was recently asked to conduct an Asphalt Pavement Materials and Specifications Workshop for local municipalities in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Bruce Spracklen with TSIT coordinated the event that was conducted by Chuck Fuller, Larry Welch and Harold Mullen. Topics presented included information on asphalt pavement mix types, pre-paving meetings for quality, asphalt pavement specifications and partners in quality meetings. Material used in the presentations was taken from the TXAPA Asphalt Pavement User Guide.
