New Staff at TAPPI Standards Department
 
Nakia Bates has just joined the TAPPI Team to give support to the Standards Department. Nakia is originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee and has been in Georgia about 4 years. She has 3 years of experience in the distribution industry of paper and corrugated packaging.  Nakia has a happy mood and is always seen with a smile on her face. Her favorite motto is: “Have a Great Day on Purpose!”

The scope of the proposal for a new Technical Information Paper is shown below, as well as the title of the new proposal, the assigned Subject Category and the name of the Working Group Chair (WGC).

This Technical Information Paper (TIP) is intended for basic creping doctor inspection and set up guidelines. Proper inspections and maintenance will lead to increased reliability by reducing the possibility of Yankee surface damage and inconsistent operations.
