The Texas Asphalt Pavement Association has always been dedicated to the development and construction of quality paving projects in Texas. The goal of the partners in quality was that by working together, both the owner and contractor could feel as though they were one team working to build a quality project. To have a successful QC/QA program we need to recognize and understand how the system works. When QC/QA test results are used in the acceptance decision, testing disputes arising between TxDOT, or its designated agents, and the contractor shall be resolved in a reliable, unbiased manner by referee testing or evaluation performed by the Construction Division, Materials & Pavements Section (CST/M&P) central laboratory.

The Hot Mix Asphalt Center (HMAC) has always had a policy of "pre-payment" for all asphalt and soils classes. At this time, there are waiting lists for all classes and therefore we cannot have anyone scheduled in a class that has not prepaid. The HMAC accepts all major credit cards as payment.
