Longer Lasting Asphalt Pavements! That is what we as an Industry and TxDOT are trying to achieve. Therefore, we must raise the bar on our mixes and materials to obtain these types of results. TXAPA will be an educational freeway of information, please don’t hesitate to call or ask questions.

This month, we will focus on education opportunities that will be coming up over the winter months. With the high influx of new people in our industry, education will be a vital role to the success of our projects. Therefore, the associate member committee has teamed up with the quality paving committee to start the process of creating some one-day workshops that will cover thermal profiles, thermal imaging, rolling and compaction. The hopes are for these to branch off to other education classes to focus on other areas that need further education. Please stay tuned, and when the invitations are sent out get your employees signed up.
