We are excited to be quickly approaching the 2017 SCAPA Summer Conference! Next weekend, on June 23-25th, those attending with be joining their asphalt pavement industry colleagues for a weekend of networking and fun at the Hilton Head Marriott Resort & Spa!

SCAPA was the recipient of two Best in Business Awards at the 2017 SC Society of Association Executives' Annual Conference held June 5-6, 2017 in Greenville, SC.

SCAPA exhibits, presents and brings home a big award from the 2017 SC Engineering Conference & Trade Show.

Road Science rejoined SCAPA as an Associate Member this month.

On May 17-18th, SCAPA members attended the 2017 Transportation Construction Coalition Conference in Washington, DC. This is an annual event hosted by the TCC, a coalition of 31 national associations and labor unions that focuses on advocating for increased funding for the federal surface transportation program.

On June 14, 2017, Governor Henry McMaster held a ceremonial signing for the Work Zone Safety Law at the SCDOT Aiken Maintenance Facility. Representatives from SCAPA were present to witness this occasion.

This fall, SCAPA will continue to travel across the state to host educational seminars addressing pavement evaluation and asphalt overlays!
