Registration for the 2016 SCAPA Summer Conference/50th Anniversary Celebration is now open!

On May 18th, SCAPA hosted its 4th annual legislative day at the SC Statehouse. SCAPA members visited with members of the General Assembly to urge them to fix SC’s crumbling roads.

On May 17th, SCAPA hosted its Spring Member Dinner for producer and associate members at the Blue Marlin Vista Room in Columbia, SC. Over 45 members were in attendance at the Spring Member Dinner.

On April 21st, SCAPA President Mike Crenshaw presented SCDOT Secretary Christy Hall with a 2015 Perpetual Pavement Award on behalf of the Asphalt Pavement Alliance.

King Asphalt, Inc. is located in Liberty, SC. Their scope of work includes asphalt paving, asphalt manufacturing, CMRB, milling, EZ Street Cold Asphalt, Seal Coating and Striping, and Recycled Sales.

The American Society of Civil Engineers says the US will need an additional $1.4 trillion in infrastructure spending through 2025.

Last week, SCAPA members visited with members of Congress as part of the Transportation Construction Coalition's annual Fly-In in Washington, DC.
