Friends and Colleagues:
I don't think any of us saw this coming. COVID-19 has made its presence known to the entire world. It is easy to focus on the terrible aspects it has created. What perhaps is not so easy is to focus on the positive aspects it has generated. Remember, we are greater than any challenge we will ever face if we have faith. Member News
NYSAE’s fiscal year ends June 30th and all members received an email to vote on the elected officials who will govern the organization for the next two years. At the same time, members have been asked to vote on proposed changes to the NYSAE bylaws.
All association activities have been impacted in some way by the coronavirus pandemic. Since early March, association executives have been pivoting and reimagining its live programs into digital engagement formats. Many of the associations that were forced to postpone or cancel spring conferences or special events are now planning completely virtual or hybrid programs for the late summer and fall. For most association teams, there’s a learning curve, and a lot of research is being done to find out the best technology capabilities for our needs.
