Calling all fire house chefs! Get ready for Cookin' in the House: Wing Wars at the NYSAFC 112th Annual Conference & FIRE 2018 Expo! We've revamped our fire house cook-off and are looking for teams to participate. Trophies will be awarded to top finishers and all teams will receive gifts for competing. Wing Wars will be held on June 15 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Turning Stone Resort. It's only $5 per person to attend (tickets available at the door). All proceeds will benefit the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

FASNY is currently sponsoring a first-of-its-kind study of cancer in the volunteer fire service. Data is needed from at least 50,000 current and former volunteer firefighters. Once completed, the study will assist the medical community to design effective cancer prevention, treatment, and screening programs for volunteer firefighters.
