Message from Our President
Dear Chapter Members, I want to first say thank you and celebrate the Golf Committee for a fantastic event on July 27. I want to thank so many of our members and partners who participated in the day. Whether you played golf, participated in the non-golf activities, or were on the holes making connections with our guests and highlighting your brand, it was truly a memorable day.

Similar to most of our industry colleagues, I am really excited about travel. I absolutely love getting to experience a different culture and place around the world. MEET OUR VOLUNTEERS: MEMBER SPOTLIGHT
“Life itself is the proper binge.” — Julia Child. I have spent the last 15 years of my career in New York City selling New York-based hotels and event venues. The company I currently work for, Makeready, has no hotels in the city. I am now reintroducing myself to the members of MPI as someone who is not necessarily selling New York any longer but is still very passionate about and in love with the city.

 The 2023 MPIGNY Kalahari Resorts Golf Outing was yet again one for the history books! Another exciting day out on Long Island at Harbor Links Golf Course, the annual event featured 27 foursomes, dozens of qualified meeting planners, and numerous suppliers from all over the country coming into town for this can’t-miss industry event.
