The Illinois Park & Recreation Association would like to invite you and your agency to participate in the 2010-11 IPRA Cooperative Purchase Program. Each year, IPRA coordinates a Cooperative Purchase Program specifically for park districts, municipal recreation agencies, forest preserves, conservation districts, special recreation associations and private agencies throughout Illinois. The program is an excellent way for your agency to save staff time and valuable tax dollars by purchasing in bulk with other agencies throughout the state.

Megan Holt Swanson, IDOT's Safe Routes to School coordinator, is holding two training sessions in Woodridge, Ill. on Sept. 1.  The first session (9 a.m. - 12 p.m.) is designed for communities that intend to apply for Safe Routes funds this year.  The second session (1 - 3 p.m.) is designed for communities that have already received funding and have questions about the funding process.
