JM Oil Company is a family-run business, founded in 1997 by Jay Mehta. JM Oil is a wholesale distributor of automotive oils and lubricants and chemicals. The Company carries a full line of name brand products including, Mobil, Pennzoil, Castrol, Shell, Chevron, Phillips 76, as well as its own private label, Raceteam.

Jay started his career in the oil business as an accountant, Controller and CFO. Eventually, Jay left his employment and started his own company which originally operated out of his home, and JM Oil was born. In 2002, JM Oil transitioned its growing business from a home office to the City of Santa Fe Springs, operating from a 7,000 sq.ft facility. Due to market penetration and rapid growth JM Oil moved to it’s current facilities consisting of a 60,000 square foot distribution center and office space.

While the company has grown to be one of the largest independent automotive oils and lubricant distributors on the West Coast, JM Oil remains a family-run business with low overhead. The Company is able to pass these saving onto its customers. JM Oil is a full service company (sales, marketing and custom packaging) dedicated to serving the needs of our valued customers with individualized attention and service.
