Georgia State University owns the long-empty Bell Building. They have plans to demolish it, as noted in a Saporta Report piece. Protecting older, quality-designed buildings is an important role of AIA Georgia and our interested members, and we have recently partnered with AIA Atlanta and signaled our support for efforts to protect and repurpose the Bell Building in downtown Atlanta.

AIA Georgia's Annual Business Meeting will take place Friday, November 13 in Athens, GA. The meeting will be preceeded with education offerings throughout the day. After the education sessions and business meeting, we will host a cocktail reception for attendees. Registration will open early October.
