MOORESVILLE, N.C., Sept. 17, 2012- Lowe's Companies Inc. (NYSE: LOW) announced today it has formally withdrawn its non-binding proposal dated July 8, 2012 to the Board of Directors of RONA Inc. (TSX: RON) ("RONA") to acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of RONA for C$14.50 in cash per share. Lowe's has repeatedly attempted to engage the Board of Directors of RONA with respect to its proposal in order to conduct confirmatory due diligence and move forward with a friendly, negotiated transaction.

Lowe's continues to believe that a combination of Lowe's and RONA makes business sense and would create significant value for all stakeholders. It is unfortunate that the RONA Board of Directors did not recognize the important economic and commercial benefits of this proposal for its stakeholders and for Canada. Lowe's remains committed to the Canadian market and will continue delivering outstanding home improvement products and services to its Canadian customers.

Boucherville, Quebec, September 14, 2012 – Headed by Bill Morrison, Vice President, Wholesale at RONA and President of TruServ Canada, the new Our Dealers: PR1ORITY team will deliver enhanced services to dealers in Canada. They will offer more frequent visits and increased efficiency to ensure that every dealer remain competitive in their markets.

Sales territories were redefined and assigned to District Managers who will live in the area they serve. "We are fortunate to have put together the best talents with extensive experience in the industry to form the largest service team for dealers in Canada. They will work closely with RONA’s Regional Operations Managers and will focus on dealers’ success," explains Bill Morrison.

To date, this new dealer service structure has been implemented in Ontario and in Western Canada. It will be applied to other regions gradually.

RONA’s dealers will be able to meet with the Our Dealers: PR1ORITY team at the RONA Spring Show in Toronto, from September 20 to the 22.

St. Jacobs, ON- Sept. 18, 2012-  Shawn Matheson placed first in the Tandem Tandem class and won the Grand Champion Award, while Wayne Burnett placed second in the Single Single class, and Joe Kuntz placed first in the Straight Truck Class. As part of Team Ontario, Shawn, Wayne and Joe were also the recipients of the Best Team Award.

"Every day our big yellow trucks travel almost 50,000 kilometres on Canada’s highways visiting communities from coast to coast, so we put a lot of effort into maintaining safe trucks and driving practices," said Shawn Matheson, Home Driver. "I am extremely proud of my team. Our success at this year’s National Truck Driving Championships demonstrates our continuing leadership and ongoing commitment to safety."

Home Hardware’s fleet of 140 power units and more than 500 trailers travel across Canada delivering product to more than 1,080 Home Hardware Dealers, covering approximately 17 million kilometres a year. The fleet is based in the company’s four distribution centres in St. Jacobs and Elmira, Ontario, Debert, Nova Scotia and Wetaskiwin, Alberta.

"Champions such as these need more than just raw talent, they need encouragement and support to reach this level of professional competition," said Ewen Steele, 1st Vice President and member of the National Committee, The Ontario Truck Driving Championship. "The fact that three of these competitors qualified for the National competition from the same company, Home Hardware, in a market as large and diverse as Ontario's, speaks volumes about the day to day expectations of that fleet, and more importantly, the support their employees receive to meet those expectations."

Home Hardware was one of the first fleets to adopt a Carrier Safety Management System developed in conjunction with CSA. On-board recorders monitor each driver’s safety and efficiency performance. Drivers with high performance records receive bonuses.

"Home Hardware has always been a leader in the trucking industry, including in the development of road safety policies for the hiring, orientation and training of drivers," said Paul Straus, President and CEO, Home Hardware Stores Limited. "On behalf of Dealer-Owners at over 1,080 stores across Canada, I would like to congratulate our drivers on their success at this year’s National Truck Driving Championship."

This name change follows last March's buyout of the French company GFI Informatique by a body of local shareholders; the two companies had been affiliated since 2004. Now wholly Canadian and determined to actively pursue its development strategy in Canada and across North America, GFI Solutions is proud to move forward with its new name and an image that better represents its ambitions.

Inspired by the notions of acceleration, ascent, and accessibility, the name "ACCEO" expresses the company's recent and future evolution, as well as its desire to offer the kind of expertise and technological solutions that will contribute to the full exploitation of e-business opportunities. In fact, the accelerated growth of recent years, which made the company's major transformation and consolidation of services possible, will continue with more acquisitions targeting new markets and the pursuit of new solutions in the e-business domain, notably the increasingly powerful mobile sector.

An e-business ecosystem
Today, ACCEO Solutions numbers almost 1000 employees working in eight locations across Canada and France, and it generates annual revenues in excess of $100 million. The company works with more than 55 000 clients and owns some 80 000 point-of-sale software licences in Canada; this is in addition to the 10 000 other licences it owns in the United States, which should help leverage its penetration of that target market. ACCEO Solutions also has an international reputation, supported by its enterprise printing solutions, as well as solutions for tour operators. Its unique offer covers all aspects of the e-business ecosystem, enabling more efficient interactions, data transfers and transactions. Whether it be for municipalities, the construction industry, notaries, merchants, or SMBs, ACCEO Solutions facilitates the jump into e-business by providing management tools that benefit organizations and their partners.

"This brand change represents a major turning point for our company, and it was essential following the end of our partnership with GFI Informatique," stated Gilles Létourneau, President and Chief Executive Officer, ACCEO Solutions. "We have never been in such a prime position to so quickly make our projects a reality. In fact, our financial resources, combined with our talented personnel and unprecedented partnerships, will help us to ably obtain the goals that we have defined," added Mr. Létourneau.

ACCEO Solutions receives solid support from its financial partners (Fonds de solidarité FTQ, Investissement Québec, Capital Régional et Coopératif Desjardins) and today has the capacity to fully realize its development plan. The company will now pursue this goal with a fresh image that clearly reflects where it came from and what it has become.

About ACCEO Solutions Inc.
A leader in the Canadian IT industry, ACCEO Solutions Inc. (previously, GFI Business Solutions Inc.) specializes in the design, implementation, integration, and support of business software solutions, in the development of e-business solutions, and in electronic payment, professional, and technical IT services. With some 55 000 clients, nearly 1000 employees, and annual revenue of over $100 million, there is no doubt that ACCEO Solutions is experiencing an active growth phase. Its most recent acquisitions include Tender Retail, activeMédia Développement, Fortsum Business Solutions, and Bell Business Solutions. These acquisitions have enabled the company to break into promising vertical markets and extend its product and service offering to businesses of all sizes, as well as to municipalities and other public service organizations.
