VTCA has worked to create an interactive map that shows the locations of all VTCA Member’s aggregate plants, sales yards, and asphalt plants. Our interactive map has been in development for over a year and VTCA is pleased to announce that on November 1 the map was launched and is now live!
Once 12-year-old Colton Dalhke heard the reason for VTCA’s PAC from his father, Tanner Dalhke of Carter Machinery, Colton had an idea. He wanted to contribute his business earnings to the VTCA PAC to ensure Virginia has safe and sustainable roads.

Registration is now open for the 2023 TCMI program, marking over three decades of training Virginia’s transportation industry’s emerging leaders.
VDOT is in the process of developing electronic ticketing for their “Big 3” products, aggregate, asphalt, and ready mixed concrete. VDOT has an aggressive implementation schedule and is hoping to require e-ticketing for contracts advertised beginning in 2024.
Virginia leveraged $1.3 billion in federal highway and bridge formula funds in FY 2022 to help jumpstart 908 new improvement projects in communities across the state during the first year of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), a review of U.S. Treasury Department data through September 30 shows.
