AMT Hires New Senior Project Manager

Holly Kidd, PE, recently joined AMT as a Senior Project Manager in the firm’s Williamsburg, Virginia office. She brings seventeen (17) years of experience leading transportation design and construction projects. Agency clients have included U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) in the Norfolk, Virginia District, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) in the Hampton Roads District, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), the Federal Highway Administration in Little Rock, Arkansas, and the City of Newport News Roadway Design and Construction Civil Section.

As part of AMT’s Virginia Transportation Team, Holly will lead a roadway design team, serve clients, and ensure quality control. She will be responsible for coordinating with clients, subconsultants, utility providers, and other agencies. Additionally, Holly will mentor junior staff in roadway design and plan preparation.

Holly earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Arkansas where she graduated with honors. In addition, she earned a master’s degree in secondary mathematics education from Radford University and worked on an MBA from the College of William and Mary. She is experienced in team leadership for roadway design and construction, closed storm system design, open channel flow, and work zone traffic maintenance. Currently, Holly is the president of the Newport News Warwick at City Center Rotary Club and is a board member for the Newport News Green Foundation.
