CLC Nominations

Print this Article | Send to Colleague

The Contractor Leadership Committee is currently soliciting VTCA Contractor members interested in serving on the committee. The committee will replace three seats that are set to expire this summer. If you are interested in serving on the committee, please send your name and a brief biography to Tom Witt. The deadline to submit your interest or nominate another VTCA Contractor member is May 16.

The CLC will identify three candidates for a three-year term; those invited to join the committee will begin their terms in July. This is a unique opportunity for both personal and professional growth, as you will be part of a team that helps shape Virginia’s transportation construction industry policies.

As one of VTCA’s four leadership committees, the CLC plays a crucial role in representing the interests of the Alliance’s contractor members. The committee typically meets monthly to discuss the most current issues affecting contractor membership and regularly interacts directly with VDOT staff to advance those issues, provide an industry perspective, and work toward resolving the challenges encountered. Each of the leadership committees serves under the oversight of the VTCA Board of Directors.

Current CLC members and recent meeting notes are listed on VTCA’s website.

If you are interested and would like to be considered for one of the open committee seats, please forward your name, company information, and a brief description or short bio of your experience to Tom Witt by May 16. For questions regarding the CLC and the selection process, please get in touch with Tom.
