AGCVA Members Honored by Virginia Business as Women in Leadership
In June, Virginia Business recognized 37 Women in Leadership honorees, acknowledging how hard many women executives have worked to succeed and rise to the top of historically male-dominated industries, continuing to climb corporate ladders and break C-suite glass ceilings even today.  In the Large Employer category: Maggie Reed, Vice President and Business Unit Leader for Gilbane Building Co. (Richmond District).  In the Midsized Employer category: Courtney Moates Paulk, President of Hirschler (Richmond District); Autumn R. Brannan Family Recovers Nearly Century-Old Watch
A nearly century-old piece of family history was uncovered this year in Ashland.

In January, when a vacant lot in the 500 block of Wesley Street was being turned into Hanover and King William Habitat for Humanity's 78th home, the construction manager decided to use his metal detector around the property.
