BRAC - A Great Day for Golf!

BRAC hosted their annual Golf Tournament on September 9th at the Waynesboro Country Club and we had a beautiful day for the event.
It was a fantastic turnout with 74 golfers, totaling over 100 attendees with our sponsors and volunteers. Congratulations to the winning team consisting of Gary Robinson and Talmadge Daniel (both from Robinson’s Plumbing Services) as well as Richard Philpot with Realpage. The winner of the Longest Drive for Men went to Bryan Mallet with Republic Services and for Women, it went to Alice Fletcher with Park Properties. For the Closest To The Pin contest, the winner for Men was Eric Early with Sav-Elec and the winner for Women was Ann Katherine Brooks with Real Property. The winner of the Chipping Contest went to Jason Spradling with Carousel Signs & Designs, who was also the finalist for the Putting Contest for $10,000 cash. Unfortunately, Jason did not get a hole-in-one on the final 50 foot putt but he was awarded a $50 gift certificate as consolation. And for the team in last place, Sherwin Williams Floor Covering, each player was awarded a gift certificate for golf lessons.

A big thank you to all of our golfers and volunteers as well! We sold mulligans, lizards and 50/50 raffle tickets to benefit the UVA Children’s Hospital and are happy to announce that we raised $807 at this event for the hospital. All in all, it was fabulous day and we look forward to doing it again next year!
