VLA has a full schedule for 2014!

VLA hosted a Marketing Workshop, presented by Landmark's Lauren Curley, in April and it was very successful! This was a hands-on workshop to go through the steps of creating an effective marketing campaign as well as a marketing plan for that campaign. This meeting was well attended and well appreciated! Lauren did an excellent job!

In May, we hosted a meeting on Bed Bugs and viewed a presentation by Dan Foster with Foster's Pest Control. This meeting was very informative as we learned some new things about bed bugs that have developed with more research, it seems that heat is no longer the only option in treating bed bugs. There are many other effective, and less expensive, options available now. 

It's full steam ahead as VLA will be hosting a Fair Housing Class in June, the July meeting will include HUD policies and updates and in September, VLA will host their annual Landlord/Tenant Conference held at the Stonewall Jackson Hotel in Staunton, VA. This is an all day event with various speakers and topics and is always well attended.
