As unemployment hovers near historic lows, over 80% of construction firms have reported they are having a hard time finding qualified workers to hire, while the U.S. Department of Education reports that there will be 68% more job openings in infrastructure-related fields in the next five years than there are people training to fill them.
  
In general, millennials view of work is different from what employers have traditionally experienced. Most have not held any job before or during college. While, like most others, they want interesting jobs with good pay and benefits, their priority is a work-life balance. Many critics of millennials view this as lacking a work ethic.

This 24-Hr course covers finance; legal; local, state & federal rules/regulations; insurance - bonds - workman’s comp; OSHA awareness; customer service as adopted in Section 363.13. Students who successfully complete the full 3-day course will receive an official PHCC 'Certificate of Completion' as proof of having fulfilled all RMP education requirements and for filing with the TSBPE.
This course is designed to fulfill the requirements of The Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners Rules Sect 363.11(b). Specifically, "Before a Plumbing Inspector, Journeyman, or Master Plumber may qualify to take the Medical Gas Piping Installation endorsement examination, the applicant must complete a training program approved by the Board which pertains to subject matter applicable to the installation of medical gas piping systems" per the (NFPA) 99 Health Care Facilities Code. Also, per new rules, it is strongly advised that each candidate for the Journeyman or Master Med Gas endorsement complete a sufficient amount of brazing practice prior to attending the class.

The app also allows a user to input a fixture unit demand, resulting in suggested pipe size, determines GPM demand, pressure drop/100’, and velocity in Type "L" copper pipe; with selectors referenced to the National Standard Plumbing Code, the Uniform Plumbing Code, and the International Plumbing Code.
