Humorist Dorothy Parker once quipped, “No good deed goes unpunished.”

But when it comes to TIA members, the opposite is true.

In 2010, the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) announced TIA 3PL Samaritan Award to recognize a member for exceptional service and assistance to others in need on an annual basis. The purpose of the award is to recognize the good works in which the 3PL industry is engaged in by highlighting a specific 3PL Samaritan effort each year.

The recognized service or assistance can take any form including volunteering logistical support, providing manpower, resources, or financial support to others in need, sponsoring sporting events, providing scholarships, hiring disabled people or other areas of service.

We’d like to salute our past winners and we look forward to the 2019 honoree at the 2019 Capital Ideas & Exhibition Conference in Orlando April 10-13. Proceeds from the annual Charity 5k Walk and 2k Run will go to the charity of the winner’s choice.
