State-of-the-Art Seed Cleaner Unveiled at Bamert Seed

Bamert Seed has unveiled its new state-of-the-art seed cleaner. Bamert Seed has been a leader in the native seed industry, since its inception in 1951. Carl Bamert, founder of Bamert Seed, engineered and crafted Bamert’s first seed cleaner in the 1960s. Recently, his grandson and president of Bamert Seed, Brett Bamert, undertook the next iteration of technology.

“My grandfather built our first seed cleaner nearly six decades ago,” Brett Bamert said. “I’ve spent more than 10 years in research and development improving on the original design, to bring the latest technology to Bamert Seed. Every piece of our new seed cleaner was custom-designed for Bamert. You won’t find another one like it anywhere in the world.”

Brett Bamert designed the new seed cleaner from start to finish. Highlights of the new seed cleaner and production facility include:
●       It is entirely automated, with the ability to run unmanned 24 hours a day.
●       Increased production capacity by approximately 50 percent.
●       Each seed is sorted 25 times in each pass through the high-tech facility.
●       State-of-the-art equipment bags about 1,500 pounds an hour.

“The new state-of-the-art seed cleaner not only adds efficiency to the operation, but it also serves as an example of the culture at Bamert Seed Company,” said Rob Cook, Director of Business Development. “Brett uses the experience and heritage gained from his father and grandfather to make sure the company doesn’t get away from its roots, while continually looking to use every tool at his disposal to advance the company every day.”
