2019 Asphalt Road-eo Recruiting Opportunities Still Available

TXAPA is hosting the third annual Asphalt Road-eo Student Engineering Competition Dec 6-7, 2019 at our campus in Buda, Texas, just a few miles south of Austin, Texas. Along with the Road-eo, TXAPA is hosting a career fair exclusively for its members. Recruiters will have access to more than 50 students interested in learning about career options. It’s a great opportunity to introduce the asphalt pavement industry and the many opportunities available to talented young adults looking for internships or entry-level positions after college.

This year 13 teams of four are competing to win $1k each in prize money. We have almost 60 students registered, all of them pursuing educations that may qualify them to be a good fit for your organization. The universities represented are Lousiana Tech, Texas A&M, Texas State University, Texas Tech, The University of Texas at Austin, The University of Texas at El Paso, The University of Oklahoma, and The University of Texas at San Antonio.

RECRUITING AND EVENT DETAILS

• Your registration is FREE and includes a table and two chairs.
• The program begins on Friday at 3pm and ends on Saturday at 3 pm
• Setup is from 2-4 pm Dec. 6, or Dec. 7 from 7-8 am
• You are invited to attend the welcome reception and dinner on Dec. 6
• We will provide a full breakfast and lunch on Dec. 7
• You can sponsor the event for $1,000
• We will feature banners with sponsor logos throughout the event
