Pavement Interlayers for Long-Term Performance

Sponsored by:

IFAI GMA logo

Date: March 8, Tuesday 2-3 p.m. EST

Pavement interlayers can mitigate distress and promote long-term performance. For road owners and agencies making investment decisions for their infrastructure, pavement interlayers offer the opportunity to delay and reduce the severity of possible flexible asphalt pavement cracking by reducing the pathway for water to enter pavements, and provide a moisture barrier that maintains the integrity and load-bearing capacity of the aggregate base. Installation can be challenging due to the large number of conditions that can be encountered; an educated paving crew can limit the risks during installation.

In this webinar, you will learn:
•The latest interlayer technology and how to use it
•How pavement interlayers provide options for pavement preservation
•How to limit installation challenges
•Why pavement interlayers are creating a new competitive edge

Speaker: Nicholas Reck, Technical director of Pavements, Tensar International Corporation
