Have you heard? The TAGITM regional event in Sequin on November 12th will include a wealth of information from licensing to legislation. First, we will hear from the DIR State Cybersecurity Coordinator Ernesto Ballesteros to talk about the new cybersecurity legislation and the programming that DIR has developed to aid agencies.

We also have an agency presentation titled “Dashboards and Data Driven Decisions,” in which Jason Kirkland will demonstrate the city of Lewisville’s performance metrics app used to show live city-wide metrics and stats. Their system was developed in-house and is based on SQL queries written against various departmental databases. The results are calculated, cached and subsequently made available on a public website. The system eliminates the need for departments to submit monthly report values to city management and is instead based on querying their live operational data.

Everyone understands Microsoft Licensing, right? Well just in case you don’t, Tangent will be presenting to fill in the gaps. Tom Holmes will get you up to speed on things to consider when entering into those Microsoft Enterprise Agreements.

Please join us and enjoy numerous presentations and networking opportunities.
