SSPC consensus committees are expecting to complete revisions of the following standards before the end of 2020:

  • Revision of SSPC-Guide 14 
    Guide for the Repair of Imperfections on Galvanized, Organic, or Inorganic Zinc-Coated Steel Using Zinc-Rich Coatings
  • Revision of SSPC-Paint 36
    Two-Component Weatherable Aliphatic Polyurethane Topcoat, Performance-Based
  • Revision of SSPC-PA 17 Profile
    Procedure for Determining Conformance to Steel Profile/Surface Roughness/Peak Count Requirements
  • Revision of SSPC-Guide 15
    Field Methods for Retrieval and Analysis of Soluble Salts on Steel and Other Nonporous Substrates
  • Revision of SSPC-SP 11
    Power Tool Cleaning to Bare Metal
  • Revision of SSPC-SP 16
    Brush-Off Blast Cleaning of Coated and Uncoated Galvanized Steel, Stainless Steels, and Non-Ferrous Metals
