On December 7th, Rick Duncan, Executive and Technical Director of SPFA, presented a 90-minute seminar for more than 40 code officials, architects, builders, and insulation contractors in Western Connecticut. The seminar, hosted by the Connecticut Building Officials Association in Woodbury, CT, provided an overview of SPF for the building enclosure and detailed discussion of ignition and thermal barriers. During the past year, the SPFA Roofing Committee has made significant changes to TechDoc SPFA-104 “Spray Polyurethane Foam Systems for New and Remedial Roofing”. Included in this update are 25 color SPF roofing details, now available for download as individual AutoCAD .DXF files. These files enable contractors and design professionals to easily integrate SPF roofing into their project drawings. SPFA members can access this updated TechDoc for free on the member-only webpage. Non-members can purchase and download it from the SPFA Online Store.
