A new PFAS reporting regulation will likely require all SPF-related companies to submit sales and/or PFAS content data to the state of Maine beginning January 1, 2023. This regulation includes SPF containing HFC/HFO blowing agents due to its overly broad chemical definition. SPFA highly recommends that SPF contractors, manufacturers and distributors doing business in Maine file for the PFAS reporting extension before November 30 by clicking HERE. Completing a submission will be easier than ever with the improvements made!
Here is what you will find:
Save and Return Feature – Those doing submissions will now be able to save their work and return at a later time to complete the submission process.
Expanded timeframe for eligible projects – Projects completed between December 1, 2020 and November 30, 2022, can be submitted! Please note that projects previously submitted CANNOT be re-submitted. With the timeline change, there is no need to wait until your current project is done – now you may use one completed in the past and start pulling together the information and photographs needed for submission.
