Join us for the second edition of the SCAPA Associate Member Training Series! This edition's topic is Compensation Strategies – Recruiting, Retaining, and Rewarding in 2022 and Beyond. This webinar will be presented by Dixon Hughes Goodman's Mark DeVerges, Senior Manager. The training will launch Wednesday, May 25, 2022 and will be held from 10:00 to 11:15 AM. The webinar is free for SCAPA Members and $25.00 for non-members. All attendees will receive 1 Professional Development Hour.
  

On May 17, 2022, from 9:30-11:00 AM at the SC Association of School Administrators (SCASA) office in Columbia, South Carolina, our technical director, Kimberly Lyons served on a SCASA panel discussion for the Career and Technical Education Directors spring meeting.

SCAPA Associate Members: Consider providing a presentation for our new SCAPA Associate Member Training Series. This is a monthly program wherein one SCAPA Associate member will partner with SCAPA to organize a virtual educational event for SCAPA membership and industry partners. This webinar will provide the latest data on the use of materials such as reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP), recycled asphalt shingles, (RAS), WMA and more.

Description: Life cycle thinking provides a framework for understanding the economic and environmental aspects of a product over its complete life cycle. The pavement community commonly uses life cycle cost analysis (LCCA) to understand agency costs and user costs throughout the entire life cycle of a pavement. Agencies and other stakeholders are also starting to use life cycle assessments (LCAs) to quantify the potential environmental impacts of pavement designs at both an individual project level and a network level. This webinar will provide an overview of LCCA and LCA, with a focus on how these tools are applied to pavements to aid decision-making.

The site will have only one of each course type available for registration at a time, so not all of the sections will show as available.
