Highlights from the SCAPA Spring Member Dinner and Legislative Day

Thank you to the many SCAPA Members who joined us for the the Spring Member Dinner and SCAPA Legislative Day!

We shook things up a bit this year and held our Spring Member dinner at the Hilton Columbia Center on April 26, 2022. Due to COVID, this was the first Spring Member Dinner since 2019, and it was wonderful to be able to host this event again! We had a great turnout with over 61 SCAPA Members joining us, which included an excellent dinner catered by Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. Mingling, food, and drink were enjoyed by all!!

                     

On April 27 SCAPA Members met at the SC State House for a morning of legislative meetings and updates. We had the opportunity to meet with the following representatives and officials: Rep. Bruce Bannister - ARPA Fund Overview and Update; Rep. Shannon Erickson - Road Funding Update; Myra Reece, DHEC Director of Environmental Affairs - Industry Issues and Opportunities; Dan Ellzey, DEW Executive Director - Workforce Issues; and Jon Baggett, Department of Commerce - SC Commerce and Infrastructure Initiatives.
