Rideability: Austroads Provide Free Articles on Laser Profilometers

Austroads has released several detailed reports discussing laser profilometers, which are used to measure the rideability of our roadways. These reports delve into validation checks as well as repeatability and bias error checks for laser profilometers.

In related news, SCDOT recently upgraded their profiler equipment this Spring with LMI 3D Gocator series wheel path lasers. Additionally, SCDOT has updated its rideability specifications for asphalt and portland cement concrete roadways.
