Southeastern Asphalt User/Producer Group Returns to the Carolinas

This month, the Southeastern Asphalt User/Producer Group (SEAUPG) returned to Raleigh, NC. The annual conference brings asphalt professionals (contractors, DOT, suppliers, and various vendors) from across the Southeast Region together for several days of educational sessions and networking. SCAPA Executive Director Jayson Jordan serves on SEAUPG's board as SC's Industry Representative alongside SCDOT's Asphalt Materials Manager Cliff Selkinghaus.
The conference kicked off with remarks from Selkinghaus, who serves as the 2022 SEAUPG Chairman. Attendees were able to learn more about topics such as Balanced Mix Design, Asphalt Binders, Sustainability/Environmental Product Declarations, Innovative Interlayers, Plastics in Asphalt, and NCAT Test Track Updates.
It was great to see so many SCAPA members in attendance as well as old friends from the industry!
