SCDOT/SCAPA Partners in Quality - 2022 Season
The SCDOT/SCAPA Partners in Quality program held its last meeting this month, this time at the District 3 Headquarters in Greenville, SC. Attendees learned more about best practices for the asphalt plant and roadway and upcoming specification changes. In addition, the group had great dialogue about E-Ticketing, constructability and overcoming supply issues.

Partners in Quality (PIQ), started in 2013, is a partnership program between SCAPA Members and the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) typically held in the winter. SCAPA co-hosts the seven Partner in Quality Meetings at the SCDOT district offices throughout the state. The contractor and agency attendees of each meeting learn about specification changes, best practices and district-specific case studies from the year prior.
