SCAPA Executive Director Jayson Jordan recently had the difficult task of talking to youngsters at St. Andrews Baptist Church Preschool in Columbia.

The 3- and 4-year-old classes were read a story about construction and learned more about roads. By the end of the discussion, the students were able to recognize the importance of roads to our everyday lives. In addition, they learned about mix delivery, placement, and compaction utilizing kinetic sand.

As a reward for their attentiveness and great questions, they all received a Rice Krispie Treat and an Asphalt Lane coloring book.
