The 2018 RV Dealers Convention Expo will feature a special "Super Lawyers Panel” with RV industry legal experts who can help dealerships avoid costly lawsuits.  The panel, comprised of experienced attorneys who represent RV dealers and manufacturers, will provide attendees their best ideas for preventing and defending lawsuits against a dealership on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 3:15 - 4:30 p.m.  The RV Dealers Convention/Expo is scheduled for Nov. 5 - 9 at Paris Las Vegas.

Topics to be covered by the “Super Lawyers Panel:  How to Protect Your Dealership from Lawsuits” session include:

  • Key laws impacting dealers
  • Preventing problems before the sale
  • Fix the problem, fix the customer
  • How to effectively respond to claims
  • Partnering with your manufacturer to resolve customer issues

The presenters are Harold D. Oehler, Lazydays; Kerry Griggs, The Cavanagh Law Firm; Brian Takahashi, Bowman and Brooke, LLP and Chris Lowman, The Lowman Law Firm. The panel facilitator will be RVDA’s Director of Legal and Regulatory Affairs Brett Richardson.
“This panel is an excellent opportunity for dealers and their employees to learn some pro-active steps to resolve disputes before they escalate into expensive and time-consuming litigation,” said RVDA President Phil Ingrassia.

The convention is sponsored by RVDA–The National RV Dealers Association, RVDA of Canada, and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center.  Track workshops, condensed into shorter timeframes, have been developed by the RV Learning Center for fast-paced, on target, and engaging presentations.
