We had an incredible turnout at our RFMA Gives 2020 Volunteer Day in Denver on Saturday, September 21st. Over 150 volunteers worked together to complete several  projects for the Stout Street Foundation, a nonprofit serving and supporting the Denver community through rehabilitation, recovery, and transition. Some of the projects completed include revitalizing SSF’s Gathering Room with paint and new ceiling tiles, transforming SSF’s exterior with heavy landscaping, repainting several interior spaces, rebuilding picnic tables, and much more! We are so thankful to all our volunteers who came out and made Volunteer Day such a success!

 

 

 

Supermarket chain Kroger opened a food hall in a new store in downtown Cincinnati last week, once again blurring the line between restaurant and grocery for the chain, which already operates a full-service restaurant and bar.

Following research indicating that Americans are upping their intage of plant-based food, quick-service and fast-casual restaurants are exploring new options for attracting these consumers while still retaining broad market appeal.

Inspire Brands Inc., the parent company of Arby’s, has agreed to acquire Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches. Terms of the transaction, expected to close by the end of October, were not disclosed. The Jimmy John’s board of directors, including founder and chairman Jimmy John Liautaud, unanimously approved the agreement.

The average total cost of a data breach is $3.8 million, with individual stolen records – such as guest names, addresses, phone numbers, credit card information and date of birth – costing $148 each.
