Suzano reported its first quarter results for 2025 with record net revenue of R$11.6 billion, up 22% on the same quarter last year. International technology group ANDRITZ has received an order from Green Bay Packaging Inc. to supply a recovery boiler, evaporation plant and power boiler for its pulp mill in Morrilton, Arkansas, USA. With this significant financial investment in new key process technologies, Green Bay Packaging will support efficient and reliable mill operation for decades to come. The value of the order will not be disclosed.

Metsä Tissue has completed the change negotiations initiated in March 2025 at its Mänttä mill in Finland. As a result, the mill will discontinue the production of recycled pulp and close one tissue paper machine.

The global environmental non-profit CDP has published the corporate scores for 2024 disclosures. Out of 22,700 companies scored, only eight companies globally received the best Triple A rating across climate, forests and water security. Würzburg, Germany based Koenig & Bauer announced that Stephen Kimmich has been appointed as the next CEO starting in June. Kimmich, CFO and Deputy CEO, will succeed the previous CEO, Andreas Pleßke, who is scheduled to retire as planned on December 31, and will assume special responsibilities within the group as a member of the Executive Board.
