PCO Joins Drexel University
The Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) has officially become part of Drexel University after receiving approval from the U.S. Department of Education.
PCO has become Drexel’s newest college. Soon to be guided by Dean Dr. Josephine O. Ibironke, effective September 15, PCO’s rich legacy of more than 100 years will carry forward into this next chapter. All other academic programs formerly with Salus University have been integrated into existing Drexel schools. This work is a years-long process that has been guided by an Integration Council composed of faculty and professional staff from both Salus University and Drexel University.
