Clasp Expands Employer-Sponsored Loan Repayment Programs to
Support the Full Eye Care Spectrum
Clasp has partnered with leading eye care employers to launch new student loan repayment programs designed to support both aspiring optometrists and aspiring ophthalmologists on their path to practice. These employer-sponsored programs offer eligible students a commitment to full-time employment after graduation and up to $200,000* or more in student loan repayment—providing meaningful financial relief while helping expand the clinical workforce.
Among the newest partners is EyeCare Partners, a national network of optometry and ophthalmology practices. Their EyeRise – ECP Student Loan Support program is currently accepting applications from aspiring optometrists and ophthalmologists across the country and was developed in collaboration with Clasp to address both affordability and early-career job placement.
Together, these programs represent a powerful step forward in expanding access, reducing student debt, and strengthening early-career pipelines in eye care.
