Arizona College of Optometry Recognize Student Clinicians of the Quarter

At Midwestern University’s Arizona College of Optometry (AZCOPT), students spend their third and fourth years on the clinical side of campus at the Midwestern University Eye Institute. Under the guidance and supervision of AZCOPT faculty, students gain critical, hands-on experience providing advanced care to patients within the community.

Every quarter, faculty at the Midwestern University Eye Institute nominate third- and fourth-year student clinicians who go above and beyond for their patients and exhibit exceptional professional behavior. The following students have been recognized as clinicians of the quarter for the Fall 2022 quarter: Nicholas Gonzales (AZCOPT ’23); Sydney Gross (AZCOPT ’23); Sarah Galus (AZCOPT ’24); Timur Kurtbay (AZCOPT ’24); Landon Montierth (AZCOPT ’24); and Alexis Showalter (AZCOPT ’24).
