EyeDock Merges With ODsonFinance

written by Dr. Dat Bui

When my fellow co-founder Dr. Aaron Neufeld and I started ODs on Finance in 2017, we were both broke, financially uneducated, and new graduates with a combined student loan debt of over $350,000+. After realizing there were no financial resources to help doctors, especially for ODs, we formed the popular online Facebook discussion group "ODs on Finance". Fast-forward to today, the community quickly amassed over 16,500+ OD members eager to learn and explore the world of personal finance to achieve true financial freedom.

But recently, I am personally excited to announce this partnership with EyeDock since ocular disease has always been a passion of mine. While optometrists need to be financially-educated, they also need to be clinically-knowledgeable to be efficient in providing the best patient care. Hence why I created ODClinicals.com a year ago. It was a great but very basic website filled with clinical tools from ocular disease to CL parameters that over 4,000+ doctors use on a daily basis.

But there was always something missing, and that something was EyeDock, a well-known online clinical tool that was created in 2002 by full-stack developer, Dr. Todd Zarwell. With the merging of our two companies, we can have the necessary resources and man-power to take EyeDock to a higher level, to really make every single doctor exceptional clinicians.

Some of these resources include:

  • Fully Mobile UI/UX design, comprehensive database, information updated daily
  • Register for EyeDock FREE to get access to basic contact lens, medicine, ocular diagram, references & basic vertex calculator. Additional full access to comprehensive ocular disease/treatment, ICD-10, advanced calculators/tools and new features with subscription
  • Free 4-Years EyeDock PRO for optometry students during school
  • Free 1-Month EyeDock PRO for practicing doctors

We plan to invest more resources back into EyeDock and welcome your feedback as you navigate the site. Cheers to Clinical Knowledge & Financial Freedom!
