New Pentacam® AXL Wave Now Targeted for Specialty Care
The device now includes optical biometry, objective refraction and wavefront aberrometry, the updated CSP Report for scleral lens fitting, in addition to anterior segment tomography.
The new CSP Report Pro is the next generation, designed to make lens fitting of scleral lenses more efficient and convenient for both patient and eye care professionals. With the new Single Scan Scheimpflug technology of the CSP Report Pro, a measurement coverage up to 22 mm is achieved so that every type of corneal or scleral lens – no matter if small, medium, or large diameter – can be easily fitted.
Dr. Bill Tullo, Medical Director of OCULUS, Inc. said, “Very important is the time savings aspect: The new procedure is capable of single capture, up to 5x faster than the familiar CSP Report, and very user and patient-friendly. Every measurement is performed in primary gaze without the need for fluorescein dye.”
