AEVR has posted details of its September 18 International AMD Awareness Week Congressional Briefing, featuring National Eye Institute scientist Kapil Bharti, PhD speaking about New Stem Cell-Based Therapies for AMD and Blast-Related Eye Injuries.
This event begins AEVR’s September 18-19 Fifth Annual Emerging Vision Scientists Day on Capitol Hill sponsored by Research to Prevent Blindness, featuring 21 early-stage investigators displaying posters at a Capitol Hill reception hosted by new AEVR President Paul Lee, MD, PhD (Kellogg Eye Center/University of Michigan). That will be followed by a September 19 Emerging Vision Scientists EVS Advocacy Day hosted by NAEVR.
