NYSAE is happy to announce that we have revitalized the Associations 101 program for the virtual workplace. Beginning February 25th, we will produce three (3) interactive “orientation” workshops intended for professionals who just joined the workforce or made the transition to the association world. Think of these as an introduction, a college 101 course, geared towards giving a broad oversight of what you need to know to be a successful association executive. Topics will cover organizational structure, governance and financial management. There won’t be a test at the end, but attendees will come away with a better understanding of how organizations operate ‘under the hood.’

The best part about this course is that you do not need to attend them all to come away with valuable information. Much like college, this series has an open-door policy, and registration reflects that. Individuals can register for one session or save and register for the whole enchilada. We offer a group rate for organizations who want to send multiple staff members to a program, and a larger package deal for the entire series. Because these sessions are recorded, organizations are encouraged to hold onto the recordings and refer to them during new hire trainings.
